I must've somehow skipped over this part in the article. Pretty impressive:

Yet our average record bince 1990 is what, 7-6? Worse??
Why do we care about putting guys in the NFL more than we care about winning in the B1G?!?

We will put guys into the NFL regardless of our record. I want wins as much as anyone, but I will hope the Hawks that are in the NFL do well. And they have.

Takes more than 1 or 2 NFL players on each team to make a good team. Doesn't matter if you have manning and Calvin Johnson if you have no running game and a poor O line. Takes a lot of players to be successful not just a few.
