Oklahoma (9-3) is still #4

Texas and Missouri both (7-5) are #16 and #15
Michigan State (10-3) and Michigan (10-2) are both ranked lower (#20 and #17)

Iowa (7-5) is way down at #43.

Iowa State (6-6) is #29
Northern Iowa is #66 one place below Northwestern

His formula makes the Big Ten look like garbage this year.

By Sagarin's methodology, we are going to be huge dogs in this game.

what i seeis #4 vs #43, yikes

Yeah, I included the others to give perspective.

It does indicate that UNI got screwed only getting the 5 seed in 1aa since they are rated here as the 2nd best 1aa team right behind the only team they lost to.

OU could beat us by 50 or lose by 50 and it wouldn't make their season less of a disappointment so there is a good shot they will be apathetic and not give a **** about this game.

They lose everyone gives them in instant excuse that they had no motivation.

His predictor column is how he picks games...the difference he has between Iowa and oklahoma would be Hawks +18.55

I'm sure they are disappointed enough losing the way way they did to Okie State and then drawing us as an opponent. This might play into our advantage since this game would be a huge win for our program regardless if they are having a disappointing season.

Yeah... let's just not go into the game with that mindset. Or at least I hope the team doesn't anyways. If they're expecting Oklahoma not to care and be lethargic, gonna get rolled.

If it were me personally, I'd be pizzed off about losing two of my last three games. One of which came at the hands of an instate rival. Not to mention, I'd really like to win double digit games.

If they choose to pout, so be it. They deserve to lose if that's the case. I don't see it happening but maybe?

I would guess Iowa outplays the predictor line quite a bit against better teams and underplays it against lesser teams. I think OU will be a definite favorite, but I think we can make a game of it.

I will agree with this 100%

not to mention Iowa's staff has a history of doing a great job of preparing for bowl games.

In the end though I feel that OU will just be too much.

I thought HN popular belief was that the Hawks always play that way...so really we should finally be on a level playing field emotionally with the other team.
