Rutgers is playing like a Big 10 team in their Bowl game.
They look big and strong. They're playing very physical with a lot of hard hitting plays.
They look like a KF coached team playing against UCF.

Fourth straight Bowl win. For this reason alone they should be given strong consideration
to join America's Premier Athletic Conference. Maybe change Rutgers to the University of NJ. Since I grew up not far from there, I'd love to get back someday. It will come down to Rutgers and Mizzou....and the $$$ they bring.

I would much rather have Rutgers than Missouri. Rutgers is 10x better as far as the academic standoint and has greatly improved in football. After ND, Rutgers should be the #1 choice.

I am still undecided on ND i guess...havent really thought too much about it since it probably will not happen anyway.

I think there was about 13 fans of Rutgers at the game. That should be enough right there to not add Rutgers to the Big10. It's a bigger market but it won't matter if the market doesn't care for college football.

I'm not a fan of this expansion idea right now. I certainly don't want Missouri. I would love it if they took Boston College but I haven't read anything to indicate there's any interest there.

And that qualifies you to say you don't like the east coast. You're might want to justify that with some reasoning. Or did you just hear about it from your Aunt Mabel who
watched the Today Show at Rockefeller Center. Other than that, and a piece of pizza at Rays the trip was a screaming bore.

You're damn right I could. I've been in Iowa 15 years now, cliche. Consider myself an Iowan. But I never forget where I came from. I've lived a lot of places out there. Grew up in Philly. Bartended at the Jersey Shore. Lived in NYC and drove a cab after college because the job market sucked in the early eighties. Spent five years in DC. I have fond memories of it all. But, I consider Iowa City to be the best place I've ever lived. I want Rutgers in the Big Ten for purely selfish reasons. I want to go back and show my old buds Iowa Football. Show them what Big Ten tailgating is all about.
