running right

I didn't tape the game in any way, but I sure thought it was almost exclusively a run right attack for GT after halftime. I'm sure someone has a breakdown, but it's almost like they gave up trying Clayborn's side (which would make good sense). Now my memory might be clouded with age, or beer, or the plain bliss of the win but it seemed like just the fact he was in the game took away about 1/2 the field.

If someone has the right/left numbers go ahead and embarrass me

I don't have the specific numbers but you are correct. I know he had 8 of his 9 tackles before the half. Frankly, I don't know what they were thinking running right at him to begin with.

Nesbitt is right handed.. it is an easier pitch running to the right. Not saying he can't go to the left, but they were probably thinking against a very good defense, the pitches need to be accurate. I know the GT fans thought clayborn was about the 6th or 7th best DE they had faced all year before the game... and they were able to handle the others.. I don't think the gt coaches would have overrated clayborn prior.. but I have to give them credit for having confidence in their own players to take him.
