Roy Sr. accused of domestic abuse

Damn..... It's too bad if there is even a shred of truth to it. The look on his face in his mug shot is creepy..
 
As a person who has been wrongfully accused of Domestic Violence and had to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket for lawyer fees, court fines, etc. and also having to deal with all of the mental fatigue brought on by the process. I am sympathetic to Roy Marble and hope that he is being genuine in saying that he didn't lay a hand on the "victim". DV laws are very strict, and extremely sexist and one of the few things in the US court system where you are basically guilty unless proven innocent. If it comes out that he did really lay a hand on her I feel sympathetic for the victim. Cases like this just make me sick though.
 
Being wrongly accused would be terrible, but what would be much more terrible would be to be a wife who is beaten. I think anyone who beats up on a women should be put away forever.

why? what's he done for the last 20 or so years? he washed out of the nba quickly. been in and out of the legal headlines since then......

then, fathered a lot of kids with different women and i don't think he's stopped doing the illicit things he's done in his past.

I understand why he's where he's at in life, just assumed being a minor local celebrity would have afforded him financial opportunities to be ahead of the curve if you will. Hard for me to imagine peaking in your 20's and going downhill from there.

Roy senior reminds me of the guy from Ohio that played wide receiver for the hawkeyes a few years ago. Both loved the publicity, drugs, and sex. Both of the guys had a lot of talent but just wasted it away. I suppose the wide receiver has a lot of kids with a lot of different women too. Anyway, I doubt if Marble stays in Iowa that he won't be heard from again and again and again and again. Both guys either wrote books or were going to write books. Whenever the media was around both seem to know exactly the right things to say. Anyway, you should know somebody by their fruit.
