Michigan beats Wisky at Michigan. Michigan State loses at Penn State. We win out. Who would go to a the Rose Bowl??

I think that is relatively easy. IOWA.

WI, MSU and OH St would all have 2 conference losses and the Hawks would only have 1.

I looked up the 2009 tie breaker and the rule says the first tie breaker is head-to -head, then overall record and finally the highest ranked team in the BCS poll.

We don't even need the MSU loss to PSU. If we win out and Wisky loses, we go to the Rose. Plain and simple.

However, if Wisky wins out, we're out of the Rose no matter what.

If we win out and Wisconsin loses---Rose Bowl. If we win out, Wisconsin wins out and Mich State loses again----probably a BCS bowl.

This.

We have to win out and somebody has to cut Bucky's nuts off.

The worst part is that if we beat MSU next week, Wisky controls their own destiny and has already played everybody tough on their schedule. You would think that would make them all the more focused on beating the chumps left on their sched.

Makes me want to throw up a little.

It's pretty much Rose Bowl or bust at this point. We need to win out and we need Wisky to lose another game. All big question marks.

If we lose another game or lose the tie-breaker, I can't see us going anywhere other than the Capital One bowl at best or the Outback (depends on who we lose to, I suppose).

If we win out, what MSU and OSU do doesn't matter as we will hold the head to head against them. All that has to happen is Wisconsin lose. If Iowa wins out and so does Wisky, that is 3 one loss teams and it would be between MSU and Wisky, with MSU getting the nod. We would be eliminated with 2 losses total.

With all of the despair around, now this is alot of what ifs, but can anyone imagine if the Hawks beat MSU, then take care of business vs. NU and Indiana, and then Wisky loses at Michigan during the daytime of the same day (Nov. 20) we play OSU, possibly at night? Can you imagine Kinnick with renewed control of our destiny to the Rose when the Hawks swarm in to take on the Bucks? The rose is still in play.

Conference Rule: NO Night Games in November

It was technically an afternoon game, it just ended when it was dark.

Just Like Last Saturday, next Saturday and possibly OSU this year & 1985 IA v Mich, #1 v #2 - 2:36PM CT kickoff. afternoon games all. But it was damn dark when they finished!
