so i just caught the end of the 2007 illinois vs ohio state. after zook and tressel shake hands, zook is trying to get his player away and to stop fighting with the osu players. I notice a reporter trying to get him for and interview and he completely unloads on her and starts acting like a little b@%th. just another reason i love the captain and really dislike zook. you would never see kirk blow up like that to a reporter.

That all being said, I'm rooting for Illinois to have a 6-6 type year, make it to a minor bowl. I want Zook to do well enough to keep his job. Not that I like Zook...I don't. I just like Zook being at Illinois.

Maybe he was upset because the reporter could see he was trying to get control of his team after a very emotional and big win for the program. If he was wanting to be talked to he would have found the reporter.

That's what we should wish on every team Iowa plays.....mediocrity. Bad enough to lose, but good enough to keep most of what's wrong in place.
