If it is true about Mcall leaving, has anybody heard or does anybody know for sure what Coes plans are? I was more excited about him and Canzeri to begin with. Mcall showed us some flashes but to be honest with you guys im not real upset over him leaving. Know your role your a freshman shut up do what is asked of you and more.

agree

Last I heard on Coe he still intends on coming to Iowa.

He is listed at 265 lbs. Either way running back or not Im still excited to see him in an Iowa uniform. Cooper, Coe and Davis up front could be dangerous. With White and Ekakatie (spelling) on the outside would sure plugs some holes.

to be honest, I was never overly impressed with Coe's RB film. Thought his LB film was far superior.

I would agree with that but his running back film really show cased his athletic ability like when he hurdled that dude for a td.

there were definitely some highlights. Most of them however were simply him being bigger and faster than everyone else. No doubt he's a talented kid.

Coe has to graduate from junior college before he will be eligible to transfer to a division 1 school. In general, it takes 2 years for someone that was a poor student in high school to finish their associate's degree, though there are rare exceptions. I would expect Coe to transfer from IWCC for the spring of 2013.

The whole "he's unblockable when he decides to play hard" quote from one of his coaches I heard the other day is troublesome to me.

Let's face it, its very rare we get these guys back. He gone.

McCall was the better of the two coming out of high school. Coe had more pub and had people around him that talked him up big time. Kid looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. Based on some words from coaches in that part of Illinois, they never believed he had 'actual' offers from some of the big programs that he claimed to have. It was common knowledge that he had zero chance to get into a Big Ten school............yet, one school took the chance.
