Robert Morris tonight

Robert Morris is another NCAA tournament team from last year. They lost in the 1st round to UConn. Looking at their roster they have at least 6 players from other countries and their "big" players are mostly 6-1 and one who is 6-2. Seem to have an experienced back court. Hope the Women stay focused and continue with the good defense, good shooting, and tighten up the ball handling. Good luck tonight. Those who are going can share what they see, please.

Hagarwood I'll be there watching intently. I hope the ladies can put together a solidly played game on both ends of the court. Great post and thanks for sharing the information.

I was looking at the RPI ratings and Robert Morris is at 230 (Mass 237 and North Dakota 234). This at 207 is very early in the year. Drake is 42, UNI is 54,Iowa is 57, and poor ISU is at 114. The Big 10 is even weirder with 9 teams in the top 100 led by Minnesota 18 and MSU at 21 and Michigan at 26. Maryland still unbeaten just dropped from 14 to 28. Then Northwestern 56, Iowa 57, Penn St. 63, tOSU 73, and Indiana 94. The Iowa men are at 207.

The B1G is going to be a tuff conference this year. That's why I was so glad to see a tuff schedule to get them ready for the conference fight. I still believe we can finish in the upper half and hopefully in the top 5. Robert Morris should be in a lot of trouble tonight trying to take care of Megan and Hannah.

The first half the ladies were way out of sync. Iwas afraid of that after beating UNI and the clowns then only 1 day to plan for Robert Morris. The second half they finally started getting with it. The Hawks only had 12 TO's and out rebounded RM 44-27. 5-19 from 3 point land isn't going to get it done. 20-28 from the free throw line isn't all that bad but the ladies just looked a step slow. I did like in the 4th. quarter Megan, Chase, Tania, Kathleen and Amanda looked pretty good out there. I wish Lisa would use Chase like that more because she's a heck of a rebounder and she's quicker to the basket. Hannah still amazes me with what she is capable of doing. To watch her you would think she wouldn't stand a chance to come up with the rebounds and loose balls like she does. It's kind of uncanny how she does it. Anyone that plays the Hawks is going to have a very hard time keying on any one player because the other 4 will make them pay.

Finals week so they will get some time off playing and hopefully recharge their batteries and win the last 2 games before the B1G starts. Dec. 18th. at Drake then they'll be home on the 20th. for Kent St. Keep up the good work Hawks!

Ally is such a huge part to this team it's nice to see what it's going to look like without her next year. The black hole isn't going to be as large and the Hawks should be in good shape. With that said I believe Ally is going to be the highest scorer in Hawk history. That will be hard to top.

You can't underrate her efficiency either. She will be the Hawk's all-time leading scorer, and she is not a gunner. From a guard position (although she played mostly 3, and even some 4, her first 2 years), she has averaged 49.5% shooting for her career. She has only average 10 shots per game. This year she is shooting 60.4%, only taking 10 shots per game, and averaging 17.3 pts/game. She is even shooting uncharacteristically poorly from FT (64.5%), although lights out from 3 (50%); those will probably both regress towards the mean over time.

Her all-around game is better than it has ever been. Hopefully she can keep up the great work through the B1G season.
