Rivals 2010 breakout player: Jeremiha Hunter

Well, I'll just say that he needs to Step up, next year, because Angerer and Edds aren't going to be there to make as many Tackles and pass break-ups.

Breakout players? I'll go with Keenan Davis, Allen Reisner, Jordan Bernstine, Micah Hyde and Jeff Tarpinian.

Oh and also, CJ Fiedorwicz, James Morris and Seantrel Henderson, perhaps

Allen Reisner is going to come up huge this season. He has proven the past two years he has the best hands on the team. Micah Hyde is ready as well, he has moved past Lowe and Castillo and was the "next man in" for Prater in the Orange Bowl.
 
The key to our 2010 defense: Tyler Nielsen. The kid went to state in track in high school, he is VERY fast. He needs to have the kind of technique that Edds had in order to cover slot WR's as effectively as Edds did.

I expect Nielsen to be the breakout player in 2010, because if he isn't, our defense won't be as good as it was in 09.
 
Hunter has been the under-the-radar glue-man for the Iowa Defense. The guy just plays.

And it seems like he's been playing since 2002.
 
I love the guys that seem to be at Iowa forever. Hinkel is always the first one that comes to mind. Sash is another that is going to seem like he has been there forever.
 
Hope we can keep getting those HIGH quality Pennsylvania guys like Hunter, Hinkel, Bobby Sanders, Jovon Johnson that seem like they're in the program as long as Jess Settles was playing basketball! Looking for big things out of Jeremiha next year....go hawks
