How are big ten teams ranked #5, #7, #20 games on before noon and big ten teams ranked #17, #25 on in the afternoon and #15 on 6:30?
Mich-Army on in the morning Neb-Co in the afternoon? PSU- Buffalo is the late game?
The only other top 25 ranked team on in the morning is Syracuse and guess who they're playing Maryland.
Not one ranked SEC team is on in the morning.
I could see scheduling ahead and not knowing, but come on, not one sec team?
Just thought that was peculiar.

hearing Jon say Styanleey over and over.... Its just that I notice northern vowels more than I used to

What part of the bigger networks want to see better matchups/competitive games in better time-slots and better networks don’t you understand? Iowa plays absolutely no one ever under ferentz in September so get used to it

This isn't a bash Iowa thread.
I am honestly curious though how that works. Michigan- Army is far better than most of afternoon games. Both had more wins than half the afternoon games.
It was just weird and jumped off the page today when I looked at the top 25 line up for the day.

Yeah, with GameDay going to Ames, this post wore well...

Iowa literally plays a ranked team on the road next week with ESPN gameday coming to town

I think networks like to put the big name blue bloods of the big ten (Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State) on at 11am on their main channels because they're guaranteed millions of viewers. The Big ten has massive fan bases and the networks aren't afraid to exploit it.

Which I figured, but why not put sec on in the morning and big in afternoon? Or mix them up half and half? I understand that they want as many eyes for as many hours as possible.
