Ricky Davis Getting Some Love

Agreed. There are so many great moments in Cleveland sports history, it's quite an honor to have any accomplishment noted. Remember that time Brian Sipe completed 3 passes in a row? I could go on. But really, way to go Ricky!

There are those who think Ricky was showboating, grandstanding as it were, mustard on the hot dog, however it was a truly amazing feat that is considered by experts to be one of the most creative plays in NBA History, guaranteeing Ricky entrance into the NBA Hall of Fame.....

I think I remember seeing that someone paid a cool mil for the ball at an auction a couple of years back. I remember thinking that the dude got a steal.

Ricky is a class act. Several years ago, while he was with the Timberwolves, he heard about some of my friends who had a car accident. He sent them T-wolves gear and replacements for some of the things they lost in the accident just because they were from Iowa.

If he had stayed for his Sophomore season, and Sam Okey hadn't been injured in a game against Minnesota, we might have had a decent shot at beating UConn and moving on....

By the way, I bought the Ball, it is on Craig's List right now.....

Sounds like a much better citizen than Chadwick Greenway.

Tom Tupa scored the first 2 point conversion in the modern era. Elway completed "The Drive" there, too.
