I don't think Rhoads leaves, but I think it is a better situation than being coach of ISU in the new Big XII.

He'd be stupid to at least not listen to what they have to say. Pitt is a step up from ISU.

Rhodes should consider this. ISU was within an eyelash of not having a conference about 3-4 months ago. A definite step up. ISU will never be a destination/dream job. Stepping stone at best. Coaching graveyard to be sure.

Funny, a move from the Big XII to the Big East is a step down, but a move from ISU to Pitt is a step up. You definitely listen if they call. I would be surprised if he left with his ties to the state/area.

If that were me...Id take it no doubt....I mean Pennsylvania is a bottomless "pitt pardon the pun" of talent...even playing 2nd fiddle to PSU, they still get top notch talent...They've had solid players the last 6 years....Larry Fitzgerald, LaSean McCoy, Dion Lewis and Jon Baldwin (will be a 1st round pick)....all from the Pennsylvania-New York Area, Fitzgerald may be from Hargrave Academy in MD or VA....
