Reranking 2007 recruiting classes: Iowa moves up

That post reminds me that Ballard came in as a TE, makes you wonder what kind of TE he could have been. I think they made the right choice putting him on the other side of the ball.

Ballard came to the Iowa City Scout camp as a TE...and then one of the guys asked him to come over and work out in DL drills...and the place went nuts with the show he put on. I will never forget that. Kansas was pretty ticked at Scout for a bit, because of that, as he was a commit to KU at that time.

On that note, remember a few years back, 2007 season where Iowa went 6-6 and didnt go to a bowl...KU went to and won the Orange...That spring and next fall Ballard was asked if he regretted not staying home...fast forward to now. I think Clayborn was on the border that year, thinking about going back to Mizzou, too. Phew.
