Remember when ForeverIowa was arguing

that the true measure of a conference was in how many teams a conference placed in the Sweet 16? Both the BIG and the Big 12 placed 2 teams in the Sweet 16. BOTH BIG TEN teams are advancing to the Great 8! Nary a Big 12 team left in the field.
Here's hoping that ForeverIowa NEVER graces this board again. Moron!

Actually the Big 12 had 2 in the sweet 16 -> OK & WVU

But they had a # 2 seed and 3 #3 seeds and yet none in the final 8!

Ah yes. I forgot about WV. It doesn't seem right when I think about West Virginia in the Big 12. I stand corrected. 2 and 2 in the Sweet 16. 2 and 0 in favor of the BIG TEN in the Great 8.

But keep in mind this was a down year in the B1G as we usually put 4 in the final 16. We got many high seeds unlike the #2 & 3 #3's the Big 12 got. Unbelievable the sales job that conference does.

The fact that they had 5 teams with a three seed or higher and not a team in the elite 8 makes this conference a joke. The tournament is about match ups and they had it in there favor. I believe this makes it 3 years in a row where no team from the big 12 made it to the Elite 8.
