What have I told all of you? The one consistency in his career at Iowa is that he has won 7 or fewer games for 3 years and then 8 or more for 3 years. This is year three of a 7 or fewer streak.

No see, the difference is I came up with that stat when everyone else was cherry picking KF's record to make different claims. My point was you needed to find a trend that carried throughout his tenure.

So, you guys would have to come up with something that was different than what others were arguing.

That stat has been known for a long time, and not because of you.
 
As always, caarhawk specializes in revisionist history. Originally you came up with KF having 3 good years then 3 bad years, which doesn't hold true as no one would ever have classified 2001 as a bad year.
 
Whatever, the stat is true regardless of who came up with it first and my point is that for 3 million plus a year the Hawks deserve better. The 'awe shucks folks we're lowly Iowa and just happy to get invited' needs to go away as long as we pay top dollar for our HC.

Um, NO I did come up with that stat and I am sticking with it unless someone can prove otherwise.

And I didn't say three good years and three bad years. I have been consistent with the 3 years 7 or less, 3 years 8 or more the entire time.

I don't buy the pattern, especially when you consider the expansion of non-conference play since '06. The '01 and '05 teams almost certainly would have been 8-win teams if their schedules contained a 4th non-conference game. Given that the Hawkeyes played at ISU both of those years, the extra non-con game would certainly have been at home and likely against a cupcake. Surmising a win in those two years ruins the pattern.
 
Hey guys, that stat that can easily be looked up or remembered just by following Iowa football, I came up with that ****.
 
Who gives a rats a$$, who came up with it. If that's something you want to hang your hat on go ahead.
