A thread was started by someone asking to find a silver lining to the black cloud that was the loss at Ames. I think the team took a lesson from that game. It was a tough loss, but showed they could play with great teams. Two wins over Sparty and a win at Purdue are proof. Great night for the Hawks!

After the ISU game I think this team realized they had to take care of the ball- really good care of that.

Who? Meh. Their old news. They want to be what we are. They entered the season believing they were entitled to a final four appearance. Their in the rear view.... as we climb up then polls.

We were the better team that night in Ames. I think this team didn't know how good they were until that game was over. I think it was a wake up call and a confidence booster as they realized their potential. Being a good team is one thing, but being a good team with confidence is another.
