**Release**

I understand that ARob did something wrong. That's obvious. It's also obvious that it was less severe than whatever Hampton did, and much less severe than DJK's incident, or he'd be booted (even if for no other reason than for Ferentz to cover his own rear).

Every night, though, as people start getting bored and Jon sleeps instead of deleting truly ridiculous posts, this insane image starts to emerge about the team. You read those posts and you get the idea that our entire starting lineup is doing rails off the bar at The Summit and that Ferentz is despised by the entire roster.

If even 25% of that was true, we would have heard a lot more today than one player being booted and another being suspended. Eventually some of you are going to have to admit that you were either woefully misled or intentionally exaggerating.

What goes on inside the football program does NOT have to be public news. I understand what you are saying, but not everything is information that needs to be known by the likes of you and me. Believe what you want. It is what it is

there is never this much talk and then nothing.

That statement is demonstrably and objectively false. Remember when the Big Ten was definitely going to add five teams? Or when Ferentz was definitely going to the Texans? Or when Joe Paterno was definitely going to retire? Etc., etc., etc.

Yes, there have also been many things that have been rumored that have turned out to come true. But those rumors are about 36-48 hours ahead of official announcements, at most. When people yap about something for a week and nothing happens, I kind of start to wonder why. And yes, I realize that Ferentz and the university tightly control information, but you can't hide a guy getting booted from the team or transferring for more than a couple of days.

Well said.

You have officially pwned tanabs. And done so repeatedly.

So 99.5 % of rumors were false

I am really disappointed that none of you have any "cred" anymore. WOB's one and all.

How exactly do you know that there is nothing more to come out? Also, most of the rumors I saw revolved around Iowa losing a couple of running backs...seems about right
