I didn't realize Georgia Tech wanted him as a quarterback... very impressive. GT quarterbacks are VERY versatile, and great athletes. Can't wait to see where he ends up for the Hawkeyes.
Reese Fleming sighting tonite on Channel 23,local Chicago station.
Reese's high school bb team,Curie,took on Simeon HS for the Public League Title tonite. Reese played some in the 4th quarter on Wednesday and sparked Curie to a comeback win with three late 3pters.
Tonite, he was on the bench in street clothes. They mentioned that he was stretching his knee out on Wednesday on the court, so they surmised that he might not have recovered enough from his ACL surgery to go again tonite. He was cheering on his teammates, and was shown a couple of times...easy to spot with his dreadlocks and a stocking cap with a giant ''I'' on it. They mentioned he was a great athlete who was attending Iowa. Simeon held off Curie to win 53-49 in a good game. Simeon was rated #1 in the nation this month. Curie played well,and featured a sophmore center who accompanied Reese on his visit to Iowa,Cliff Alexander,who is a total stud, a 6'9'' 15 year old who looks like he could start for Iowa right now.
Hope Reese has a great experience at Iowa and Cliff visits often.
