Redemption Song....

To quote the late great Bob Marley...tonight is our redemption night. I think OSU is going to bring the "hack a hawk" and bruising style of play to Carver tonight. We will get to see if this recipe is a prove one or just a mere mirage. I look for the hawks to really play a solid game start to finish. It is that time of year...I think in particular Aaron White returns to the line-up (sarcasm) tonight. I look for someone off the bench, namely Uthoff to have a big contribution tonight. Can't wait and it is so exciting to actually plan my life in the evenings around Hawkeye basketball.

Agreed, few years ago the weather would have made the decision so much easier as to not go tonight. Now unfortunately until a few minutes ago despite the warnings and the road conditions I was seriously considering following thru and going tonight. I'm sure I made the right decision, but I won't lie, it was a very difficult one that I'm sure a younger me would have chanced.

Ohio State should be the 2nd team to go 0-2 against the Hawks this year. Somebody might even get the chance to go 0-3 come BTT time.
