Recruiting Updates I would like to see

As Jon has said, with May being a relatively slow Sports talk month regarding the Hawks, I would love to see some type of weekly / bi-weekly recruiting update that might be formatted something like this:

Top 3 Instate Football Prospects:
School / Height / Weight / Position / Level of Interest in the Hawks

Top 3 Out of State Football Prospects:
Same Criteria

Same type of thing for Basketball recruiting would be very cool also.

I knew enough about Wegher, Keenan Davis and Jordan Cotton to be excited about them before they became Hawks, but I couldn't say I have the same level of knowledge with any potential Hawk recruits for the upcoming year, so I think it would be very cool to have some kind of update on the most coveted potential recruits that are out there.

I know that Jon has mentioned that the recruiting aspect of this site will be enhanced in the near future and some kind of update like what I listed above would be very attractive to other regular site visitors like myself.

Hopefully Jon will read this and let us all know if something like this premise is remotely possible.

Jon,

Nice to see the Blythe committment come through today.

Any chance you read the original post and could comment if a recruiting update somewhat similar to what was mentioned is at all possible?

Hopefully we will be hearing about a lot more committments in the next couple of months.

Thanks.

Top OOS prospects (IMO of course) that Iowa has a legit chance with are....

Rodney Coe - IL - RB, big, bruising type not the fastest back but a complete RB

DaVaris Daniels - IL - WR, Big WR 6' 2" ish. Iowa in top 5 but ND seems to be the heavy favorite

Aaron Lynch - FL - DE, complete DE some believe he could be a LT in college. Has the frame to add weight and has great footwork for a big man. Also believed to be leaning toward ND.

Justice Hayes - MI - RB, Iowa in final 6. Some believe he won't leave state of MI. 5' 10" about 180 with 4.4ish speed. Elusive quick RB.

Evan Spencer - IL - WR, pretty complete WR, not super fast but does everything well. Father played at OSU and thought to be an OSU lean but seems to want to take some visits.

A few Ohio kids Iowa has offered....

Ray Hamilton - TE - 6' 5" 235 lb athletic kid. Has a lot of potential, good playmaking ability. Visits will be big with him as he doesn't claim a leader.

Braton Miller - QB - #1 QB in the country. Iowa offered early but aren't really in the mix.. UF, Alabama and OSU most likely destination.

Cardale Jones - QB - Huge upside but a bit of a project. Has a long wind up on his delievery but with some coaching could be a steal. Offers from most B10 schools, no real favorite however a firm OSU offer (rumored to possibly have a conditional offer) could make him a buckeye. However if OSU lands B. Miller Cardale may want to look elsewhere.

Andre Sturdivant - LB/DE - may have a future at DE in college. Already 6'2" 235. beast of a LB. Having seen him play he has a great motor and is always around the ball. He is a playmaker. Has a verbal offer from OSU and like most Glenville kids probably ends up a buckeye.

I'd really like Lynch and Coe....if KF can pull those two, I'd be thrilled, regardless of what the rest of the class brings.

Currently, according to what I've read on multiple sites, Iowa sits well with both (likely top two, as of now that is...a lot can change between now and February).

Justice Hayes cousin (Roy Marble Jr) will be playing basketball at Iowa this year.

Hayes has a lot of family in Iowa too.

Just FYI
