Recruiting update?

Does anyone know of our chances to land any of the better unsigned recruits still out there for 2017? I wasn't aware Oliver Martin's family is good friends with Chris Doyle...has to be a positive. Any chance we could surprise out of the blue on a top 100 or 4 star?

Like our chances with Thomas Johnston. Arkansas just got a verbal from a LB, as they feel they don't have a shot with Johnston.

Nice I like the sounds of that for sure. I haven't heard much recruiting buzz at all the last few weeks.

I went through the rivals sports top 100 list and saw we were medium on a couple guys lists...of 20+ schools no doubt but that we offered to.

It's a dead period so there's limited contact with recruits and nothing face to face.

Kendrick Green seems to be trending towards Illinois but who knows.

Oliver Martin is, just, who knows, but I like Iowa's chances with Michigan out of the picture.

Johnson said he's taking more visits after the dead period ends on Jan 12.

Scotty Nelson is getting closer to a decision and is torn between Iowa and Wisconsin. I like our chances here.

Not sure what to think of Zamari Maxwell. If he decides he's OK with going far from home, I think he ends up here.

Can't get a read on Johnathan Lovett. I think we're behind Rutgers and Penn State ( again because of distance from home). The longer it goes, the less I like our chances.
