I'm not going to write stories about every kid visiting and with interest as quite a few don't end up with offers. So, I figured I'd start a thread with notes on the recruiting trail that probably won't make it into stories.

I love seeing Kirk and Phil make another trip to do their best to keep Jacobs in the fold.

Nothing wrong with seeing a little loyalty. It’s funny we always get bent out of shape when Ohio State, Bama, or Michigan steal or guys, but I don’t hear anyone complaining when we flip Rutgers or MAC guys.

I’m not too worried about the RB position, unless we had a big departure, say Geil. Excited for Goodson and think the RB position is in good shape going forward.

I like this class overall with the Olinemen, TEs, and Jacobs. We’ve done well on the Dline and secondary in the past couple years. Still haven’t been able to solve the WR issue, but we do have two sophomore starters who have shown some promise, and maybe Tracy can develop into an option going forward.
