First off let me say I am new here so, hello hawk fans.
Second, wow there is alot of, he said she said around here, I think many of you should take lessons from KF and calm down.
So we lose one back for personal reasons, another transfers (which has bad knees) and makes room for a new healthy back. Lastly Arob is not going bowling, for whatever reason.
In the end we are light on backs, whoo hoo, big deal. Many of teams have been light on backs. As far as one guy getting the boot for doing drugs, oh well. So we are light on backs and one receiver, whoop tee do.
Seems there alot of fair weather fans here. Is it an ideal situation? Why no, but this is the kind of stuff that lets you know what you (or your team in this case) are made of. Every day is a struggle for most people. Why would you think a day for a group of 100 people or so would be any better?

well 80 or so of those people are never going to have $20,000 worth of student debt to struggle with like I do.

100 of those guys get to be a part of an awesome team/group that most people would give alot to just experience for a little while, let alone 4 years.

100 of those guys get to run out onto a historic field with 70k fans cheering for them and represent an entire state.

100 of those people get to travel to some the greatest stadiums in the world and match up with some of the best players in the world to test skills that they have worked hard to master.

100 of those people get the benefit of an extensive network of people that will bend over backwards to make them successful after they leave school.

I could go on believe me. If you can't understand why the supporters are a little bit disillusioned with the whole thing then you must have it pretty easy.

Your point is? You think they have it easier or better somehow?
