Too bad college age kids don't have the wisdom of middle age to help them make decisions. Most of us on this forum would give up a LOT in order to have the chance (ie skills) to play major college basketball (not to mention get a free education!). Just really hard to see kids continually make poor decisions and let the opportunity that is so fleeting escape. These kids think they will be youthful and athletic forever....don't realize what a HUGE privilege to have their skills and opportunities on the court. 2 years of lost opportunity for Mr Tucker. I really hope he gets his head on straight and really takes advantage of the next 2 of 3 years.........it will either be the best of times or the worst of times for him.
Would be interesting to interview Ray Thompson....get his take on the situation...see if he has any words of wisdom for Mr Tucker. Life is much to short, and our fifteen minutes of fame much too fleeting to waste!!! FWIW
