Really interesting read on recruiting

This is just a bunch of quotes from UA All-American players about what they think of recruiting. It is all a bunch of anonymous sound-bites, but I took away a couple things from it. First, a lot of the players sound really jaded ("Don't go to a school because you like the coaching staff. It's a big business, and coaches move all the time.") Second, it doesn't sound like very much fun for most of them.

I have talked with a fairly big time recruit recently, and he seemed pretty annoyed by all the phone calls and texts. he really liked going to the camps and to the campus visits, but the day in day out getting contacted by coaches was wearing him out.
