Reading their boards

Kinda funny that Iowa was supposed to play them in the Bahamas until they sh*t the bed against UTEP.

If we were Vols fans we would be licking our chops to play Iowa. Lately playing the Hawks has been very good for our opponents self-esteem.

I saw this post on their Scout board:

"Duke? We'll do real well to beat a good Iowa team. That's a good team with good coaching. Very tall, not real athletic.

I've watched them a lot, I love watching them play ball. Good PG, 1 great wing player, everyone else fits the scheme well."

Must be talking about ISU, cause that sure as hell ain't Iowa

Another post from their Scout board:

"Since we are 2-11 in games with single digit differentials, better hope it's a double digit margin in our favor in order to win and advance. Anybody know why we can not win a close game?
Ideas?"

Sounds like an overtime(s) game... Neither team can finish

Our backs are against the wall and we got nothing to lose now, if it's close we'll finish.

Every TV "expert" I have seen tonight is picking Tennessee to not only beat Iowa, but to then beat UMass as well. Seems like everyone thinks UMass is just a doormat on the way to Duke.

Yes, Tennessee looked good against Florida yesterday, but they only scored 14 points in the entire second half and blew a lead. Then of course they beat Virginia by 35 back in December, but that's about it.

The one thing I like to hang onto is they lost to UTEP, who Iowa then crushed by 35 the next day. Of course that was a long time ago and what was seemingly a completely different Iowa team back then.

It should be a really good game, I'm looking forward to it.

I think both Iowa and Tennessee are better than UMass so it's not shocking that Tennessee would be picked to play Duke. If Iowa snaps out of their funk though, Tennessee isn't beating us.
