Lickter? That's what I did to my wife last night. As far as turning it around, that's when the fun really started.

Re: this nostalgia for Lickter

Marble would have left by now and McCabe and Brust would be the "stars" of the team averaging 10.5 points per game and Iowa would be lucky to squeak out 4 wins in the B1G.

3rd place trophy in the "New Amana Hawkeye Classic at Carver Hawkeye Arena."

Winner of the tournament averaging 134 points a game

Strong argument.

It's certainly strong enough for the question posed...has to be one of the absolute worst questions I've ever seen on here and there have been some bad ones. Now, do I ignore the poster 1st or give this thread a 1 rating 1st?

I hereby proclaim that on Friday, January 17th of the year 2014, in the 12th minute of the 8th hour of the PM (CST), in the thread "this nostalgia for Lickter" in the Forum "Basketball" on the website "hawkeyenation.com", he who goes by the screen name 99topdawg did indeed, win the internet.

Pack it up folks.

It's over.

Re: this nostalgia for Lickter

What argument? The question was whether Lick would have turned it around. The consensus, at least within the confines of the Athletic Department, was that he wasn't going to turn the corner. Hence, Le Boot.

Isn't stating the concensus answer to a question an argument?
