I think our ranking is about right. We are not a top ten team and probably wouldn't be for a long time. Sure might get up there for a week or two but not stay there for the season. As far a getting an elite PG, good luck, 4 and 5 star PG are highly recruited. May find 2 or 3 star that hasn't fully developed yet and get lucky. Other route is junior college player, but how many juco players has Fran recruited?. Seems to work for ISU.

Hawks aren’t close to being a top 10 team...Let’s just beat one first.

All 4 of our losses are to teams currently in Kenpom's top 10. We only have 1 game left against any of those teams...at Wisconsin. We have beaten numbers 13 and 14. Our style of play doesn't match up well with MSU and never will IMO...and they get elite talent every year. So being 2-2 against top 14 teams not named Michigan State is acceptable to me at this point with this team. And we still get a shot at Michigan and Wisconsin.
