If OSU holds on the BT will be 5-4 in bowl games. However, the BT East will be 1-3, while the West will be 4-1. Yup.
The Fainting Irish, the most over rated team in the country year in and year out, limps into the playoffs and gets smothered—again.
Oklahoma, who is consistently a failure on defense, again shows they are not playoff worthy.
Whar OSU?
MST, the best D in the country, loads the box and dares Iowa to beat them with the pass. So, we do, while the geniuses on HN attack the Hawk’s game plan and Nate’s performance. Huh?
SEC players show lack of discipline, while Iowa avoids penalties. The Iowa D forces turnovers, as usual, and wins the game against a highly ranked SEC team.
Iowa’s slow, weak wide receivers against a high speed SEC team, help Iowa score more points on MST than Alabama, or anyone else for that matter.
Our TE makes a high octane play after a decoy based performance while MST gives up over 100 yards to our slot receiver. Duh.
Conventional wisdom says, “Stanley has to come through if we are going to win, but he will choke as usual in a tight game.” Huh?
To quote the negative nellie’s, “ Only the final score counts” unless, of course we win. Then the QB, KF, the OC, the AD, and the U. President are all incompetent.
Nellie also pointed out that we only won because of dropped passes, dumb play calling, penalties, by our opponents.
Tough Shit, guys. We won...that is all that counts.
Boy. Do I ever love sitting here with a cocktail, cooking a lobster tail, laughing at the geniuses who are dining on crow, even if they are too dumb to know what they are eating. 9 wins, baby. 9 wins. And, a heartbeat away from a magical season, as we enjoy an outstanding record.
