Can anyone fill me in on the NCAA guidelines for a school putting together it's schedule? Obviously the B10 is set by the conference, but are there limits to how many non-conference duals you can have? Are there limits to how many tournaments your attached wrestlers can compete in (Luther Open, Midlands, etc). Is it total number of dates combined? Do the Iowa City duals count as one date, or three duals for example. Always been curious about this but never asked. Last year with the Kinnick dual we didn't compete in a preseason tournament like usual. Was that because the dates conflicted, or that we maxed out our scheduled dates? Guys used to wrestle almost 50 times a year and now it's maybe 35 so I'd guess certain limits have been added through the years.
