Question: If AZ was down by 20 in Kinnick, would they have come back to tie?

Obviously this is a hypothetical question that can never be definitively answered, but in your opinion, if the tables had been turned, would Arizona have been able to have accomplished in our stadium what we did in theirs.

Personally, I do not think so.

The Hawks ran into a buzz saw. Yes, they shot themselves in the foot quite a bit, but clearly Arizona had this game marked on their calendars since last year and we received their top effort...

...but they still got back to level ground. Its bad that they had to, but I think the fact that they did needs to be acknowledged and commended greatly.

The Hawks were not the best team last night, but I'm confident they will end up being so. They will improve and have a great year!

Not many teams in the country could have done what Iowa did.

I said to my family that it wouldn't surprise me if Iowa came back but ended up losing on a last drive.

That happens a lot in college football. A team rallies to make the game close and the emotion it takes to come back just finally wears out. Plus, the other team must be a fairly decent team to have a 20 point lead on you to begin with.
