I don't believe that Linn-Mar athletes are allowed to attend Iowa, are they?
I think you were telling a story there but it made no sense. Was this a joke post?I dont recall that one, but I know of a DT Iowa dropped the ball on. He did not get offered by the big schools that looked and ended up at a cr*p d1 school. He was pretty good and Iowa was sniffing around his area (not Iowa). I watched him play and he needed 20/25 pounds, but man he could get low and had some power. He had a chip on his shoulder and it showed. As for grades????? A gal my wife knows has a son with an offer (what I heard, cant find a list of offers) for wrestling, but he has to make grades, have not heard how that is going, but a few months ago the kid was "not worried", which tells me he wont make it to IC. I should check back into that one and see how that is working out.

So others sniffed and did not offer. Iowa didn't look. Are you trying to say iowa should have offered an unnamed player because you liked them? I am sure this happens everywhere all the time. This kid chose to walkon at Stanford. Great school and family in area. How does your story relate to this situation?Nope. I knew a DT that was looked at by some big schools, but even thou Iowa was sniffing around his part of the country, they did not even look. I watched him play and I along with schools who reload thought he was worth a look.
As for the wrestler, idk if he really has an offer or not (mom says yes), but I know from his mother his grades might be his downfall.
whar Herb? Did he get the hammer again?ahhh, of course. jumper with the scoop. now that herby's gone, you are the recruiting guru

Am I stoopid or are you? The op asked if Iowa ever offered Parry (I guess not). I said I was unsure, but I knew of a kid who is playing D1 and was looked at by schools that reload and even thou Iowa was just down the road from him recruiting, they never even took a look at him. Now unless you think you know more about recruiting then Boise St and the likes, you can take my word for it, the kid should have been looked at. Just because he was not a fit for Boise, does not mean he would not have fit Iowas D scheme. THATS ALL I WAS SAYING.
Take a deep breath tiger. If you have a story and you wanna tell it have fun. Just try to tell it in a relevant platform and in a way that makes sense.
I knew a guy who had a guy who should have gotten a grade but couldn't because his mom said he was getting a ping pong scholarship. But dang iowa coaches sniffed his poodle and boise state got his sister to walk on.
