any mention why egelseder (sp?) road the pine for the final 4:30 of the game? i dont think he was in foul trouble. dont you want your best 5 on the floor at that point of a tight game? just wonderin.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but over the last handful of UNI games that I watched, Jacobsen seemed to go with a more athletic line-up at the end of the game...usually to protect a lead and play good defense (can't remember his FT % or if that is a factor). Not saying Jordan is bad at that, but seems like O'Rear was a key part of that line-up.

Have you watched them much this year?

He always seemed to be out at the end of the game, he only averaged about 19 mins or so.

That probably didn't answer your question but that seemed to be the normal rotation for some reason

no, i didnt watch UNI much this season. i thought he was a force in the tournament but its hard to contribute from the bench.

He was on the bench for a better defensive team. As said before this wasn't that uncommon from the way they played him most of the year. Egleseder was a liability on high pick in rolls with Michigan State's quicker big men. He had a great tournament though.

If I'm not mistaken I think Eglseder shoots a decent % from the line like 73%...
