Quanzell Lambert

I'd love for Iowa to land Lambert! Hopefully Alston, Law, and some of the other east-coast guys are really working hard during the summer ... and enjoying their initial time at Iowa! If so ... the more draw we can have, the better!

If we could land Lambert, that would probably really help Coach Wilson's recruiting efforts in the NJ and MD areas. Given that Iowa seemed to be gaining ground in recruiting in those areas, I'm still a little surprised that we haven't been hearing more about guys there having a lot of interest in Iowa.
 
would be nice to continue the flow of the east coast guys. can't hurt to have a foothold out there. did we pretty much give up on texas, haven't heard much going on down there for some time?
 
I could imagine that the B10 alignments could have hurt us on the East Coast. Even though we play PSU this year, most of our games don't go east of Indiana/Michigan and PSU will eventually come off the books for awhile.

that certainly is possible, but if we continue to produce NFL'ers and win some big games, that should offset it. we did pretty well down south there for awhile and never play anyone down there, so it might just all be about building some pipelines and contacts with HS coaches.
