1. Scoring: Our team isn't built to win in the 60s in a 40 minute game, much less 45
Would have helped to see more paint attempts from White/Marble/Gabe. Just didn't get enough foul call opportunities.
2. Rebounds and steals
Got out rebounded by a team with much less length [30 to 37] also were only able to force 8 turnovers. Iowa was able to get that stat matched in one
half verse the team most experts are predicting to win the National Title, Michigan State.
3. Needed more shot attempts from teammates not struggling
Similar to number one reason, simply scoring. But we needed shooters to space floor, and that needed to go away from White and Marble outsite of the paint and more to Jok, Uthoff, and Oglesby. While Josh was just 2/5, I think with more designed plays to him specifically, no just simple curls and basic screens, he would have got to 50%.
4. Bad timed fouls or steal attempts
Few times late in shot clock we gave bad fouls far from paint, or late in clock we went for low percentage steal (Woody), only to leave path to rim empty.
