So..it turns out that Purdue is a pretty decent team afterall... based on how they played against Iowa and others including today against Sparty. Ahh offensive competence.

And I may start a thread on this subject no matter how the Iowa game goes but do you see how easy so many teams get their receivers open?? Rub routes, a lot of just step sit down/stop routes in the holes of zones, out number the defense, and the easy wide receiver screens. I cant believe our receivers are really that bad, they might not be burners but they are not slow either.

Yes, this is huge. Its gotta be scheme. ITS SO HARD for iowa to move the ball.

In the 3rd quarter Sparty ran 9 plays and punted 3 times. Does that sound familiar? Iowa ran 6 plays and punted twice in the 3rd quarter against Purdue.
