Purdue vs MD

I'm tired of seeing the Terps just squeaking by the last like 5 games. They are due for a loss in which their luck runs out. But what does Purdue have to do to win this game?

Purdue Game Plan: play the game at their own pace, get the ball inside and hope to get the freshman Stone in foul trouble early, keep TOs to a minimum and play Tremble physical.

Any other thoughts?

Sounds reasonable to me. Purdue's front court should be able to hang. Just run good offense, take care of the ball, and play vintage Boiler defense - nothing easy. Can't let Trimble have his way..

Maryland tends to focus when the chips are on the table (played decent @Michigan, Michigan St, UNC, and Wisconsin and beating Iowa and a decent-but-not great UConn team), but loses focus in games it "should" handily win (vs. NW and @Nebraska come to mind).

The burning question I have is wtf they're playing DII "Bowie State" next Tuesday? I guess, unlike Maryland's last two opponents, Bowie has fewer than 10 losses.

I'm guessing they're playing Bowie state because the B1G gave them a bye next week and they didnt want to take such a huge break between games. I kind of wish Fran would have done that as well but it didnt seem to hurt Iowa at all.

Purdue making sure Maryland wins this, up 5 at one pt, and now down 5, 4 minutes to go .....

When Iowa is at home, they should play with a ball that's even dumber than the one Maryland uses. That was when they win every game because the other team can't shoot, everyone can talk about how awesome iowa is.
