That gives MD a 5th loss and opens a door for the Hawkeyes. Maybe this will be enough to fire us up at OSU tomorrow. Win that one and the Iowa/Indiana game on Tuesday will be a championship game. (yeah, I know...we still would have to win at Michigan).
 
MARYLAND IS underachieving per expectations. Iowa despite its recent struggles has far exceed preseason expectations. Fran should be considered COY.
 
We really need to win the next 2. If we do that, we will go into the last weekend with a chance to win outright and 2 chances to tie.

If the Hawks shoot the same way they have the last four games, it could be pretty ugly on Sunday. Plus, the Hawks have been out rebounded in three of the last four games. Can't put the ball in the hole & get beat on the boards is a recipe for disaster. In the last four games, Utoff has gone from player of the year to second team all-conference.

Yea but until then, the dream is still alive. We just have to keep winning. Then we will be Maryland's biggest fans on the last day of the regular season.
 
A side note, Oklahoma lost for the 4th time this month. Maybe now the 'experts' will finally move them off the #1 seed line like they should've about 2 weeks ago.

Sparty is in great shape to jump up to the 1 line with all of this chaos, not that any of us should be surprised.
 
Bias predicts that MSU will win it all. And to think we beat the crap out them twice this year. Just makes you wonder what the heck is up with this team now.

Makes me wonder if you watch thoses games and knew the status of MSU at the time?

Valentine had just returned and wasn't back to form. He has been playing like the POY for about their last 6 games.

It was still a great win at their place though, no doubt.

Just gotta win today Hawks.
