Purdue has 3 players transferring

Johnson already used his redshirt year,so he will have to sit a year, then play a year...not that attractive of a package to give two years of scholly for one year of play.

PU is going to be thin, but it does open up some schollys that Painter can possibly fill immediately this spring.
I hope he does so that he cannot pursue Ulis with full vigor for the following class.

Purdue will be thin, but have a nice trio of recruits coming in with #61 Stephans, and # 65 Scott, and #108 Smotherman. Add in the Johnson bros.,Rapheal Davis, and Hammonds, and you have a nice core.

Hammons and Painter obviously butted heads at times last year and I saw at least a couple of games the Hammons just coasted through. Lots of talent...not much motivation. I thought maybe he would give the pros some thought this year.
