Purdue belongs in...

Tough, hard nosed team. Outplayed bucky first half. Hammons far outplaying the Conf player of the year, who looks like crap.

They don't look like it in the second half. Granted if I was in painters shoes I'd of been thrown out of the game a long time ago. Whisky is doing their usual fouling with the body and not getting called for it. And then there's Dekker hanging on the rim with one hand and no one under him. I don't like Purdue but I feel for them today.

52 RPI. SOS in the 70s. Best road win is at Indiana who's probably destined for the NIT. Home losses to Gardner Webb and North Florida. They'll probably make it, but other bubble teams will have an argument about Purdue.

Wisconsin is easily a #1 seed. They remind me of a bigger, more athletic UNI team. agree though, purdue should easily be in.

Purdue will almost certainly be in the NCAA. Indiana has a chance. Illinois is out of the running. Ohio State is 1-7 against top 50 teams, is a lock (for some reason) and will probably lose their 1st game.

The whole tournament the officiating has been a joke. Call everything for 5 then nothing then back to everything. Amazing.

Look at Ohio State's schedule. Set aside the rating systems, etc. Tell me their 3 best wins. Name their best win away from home. I think Purdue has a much better chance of winning their 1st game than Ohio State does.

I'm not picking a fight...just looking to discuss. Why is Ohio State a lock and Purdue fortunate to get a bid? Indiana still might make it and Purdue swept them and split with Ohio State.

I agree 100%. I was just talking Purdue, but I agree with you about Ohio State

Peedew benefited, greatly, from an easy Big Ten Schedule.

With these larger conferences, we're going to see these in-balanced schedules everywhere, except in the Big 12.
Look at football, where one team in the Big Ten West could play Rutgers and Indiana, as crossover games, and another team could play Michigan State and Ohio State as their crossover.

Purdue played Wisconsin, Maryland and MSU, once, and lost.
They played Iowa, once, and without Aaron White, and barely won.

Indiana looks like the better team than Purdue, at this time.

Odd topic considering Purdue finished 12-6 and 4th in the conference, this should not be a question.

Indiana was swept by Purdue and hasn't been playing well. Live by the 3. Die by the 3. That's Indiana. Purdue not only looks like the better team but is the better team IMO.
