More info please, what was the score and time in the game? I didnt watch the game but just saw Duke won. Yes 4th and 10 is hard to get.

The hawks occasionally make this punt work. I think the more important question is when KF has 4th and less than 10 any time in the game at the opponents 33 and doesnt go for it. Most times he punts because his offense has issues yearly and he usually has a decent defense, not a stone cold 3 and out defense most times but a decent defense that is usually very good at not allowing points.

Not back in the day they didn't,,,,Bradley would drill it into the end zone on he fly time after time.

Situation was EVERYTHING in this case.... Duke was up by 1, with less than 2:00 left, and UNC was low on time outs. If they try a 50-yd FG and miss...short field for winning FG. If they go for it and don't get it, again, short-field and only need a FG to win. The only play there was to punt.
