Oh you mean like coaches do? Give me a break. When college coaches are forced to honor their commitments to their players I'll support your argument that players should be forced to honor theirs.

I think this is just a miscommunication. Senile Joe thought someone was asking him to sign an agreement to retire today, and he stubbornly refused.
