Project Iowa's seed in the NCAA

Yes, we're all disappointed with yesterday's loss to lowly Penn State. But this thread is not about that, but rather your ability to prognosticate where Iowa winds up in Sunday's NCAA brackets. Certainly yesterday's embarrassing performance in the BTT will drop Iowa some, but there are some impressive road wins. So where does Iowa land? If you're brave, post which region.

A 6? Even the most optimistic projections so far among the pundits in the know were a 6 or a 7. That was before the BTT loss to PSU. How can Iowa continue to be considered as a 6 or higher?

Because the other 12 teams on lines 7-9 didn't win their tournaments or make semis in tbeir tournaments. And a 7-9 tourney seed losing to a 1 or 2 seed in semis isnt going to help them.

But I don't see Iowa as a 6.
