Preview, Prediction: Purdue Sets Up As Trap Game for Hawkeyes

If this is a trap game for the Iowa Hawkeyes then they haven't watched game film of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Hawks haven't yet earned any game being a "trap game". The next possible "trap game" is Illinois, and that's only if we only have 1 more loss at most until then.

Apparently, NDSU was a trap game, and the Hawks were snared.

Rob, calling this a trap game is like calling Iowa the Bullies of the Big Ten. It is not deserved. Iowa is fighting for each win right now. Actually it started last year only they kept winning them.

Based on the results thus far, NDSU wasn't a trap game either. They won that game pretty squarely.

Damn it had to be said huh Trap Game that really is a bummer because we haven't faired well in our other 2 Trap games.. :)

Purdue is putrid. It's sandwiched between Minnesota and Wisconsin, two of our biggest rivals. If we win this week and the Badgers lose to Ohio State, we'll be playing to take a two-game lead on them next week. The Hawkeyes are 16-2 are in their last 18 regular season games. You don't have to call it a trap game. Others will.

With my head being in outer space I think it's going to be more of an awakening then a trap game. I'm hopefully optimistic its the game our offense and defense both begin clicking and take care of business for an entire 60 minutes.

On the other hand, I may have forgot to wake up this morning and could possibly still be dreaming.

This is beautiful! In one brief, concise sentence you filter two losses and minimize two others. "Spin Doctor"? No, a true master! I dub thee "Spin Surgeon"!

( I know a surgeon is different than a doctor, not necessarily better, but you know what I mean and I can't think of a better word! )

Hail!

Purdue is certainly capable of beating Iowa. They just won on the road at Illinois. Illinois was leading at Nebraska in the 4th quarter before faltering. Iowa is not good enough to look past any team and Purdue is our designated rival from the East. We should be sky high for this one!!!

Since Jon Miller has started his #NeverPurdue selection process isn't Purdue undefeated?
