I think it's as good a thread as any, but I'll add as much as I love Wrigley it's not a football stadium. This tradition of putting games in historic venues needs to end. If you can't incorporate a full size field in its entirety then it shouldn't even be a consideration. They can't even get both teams sidelines right. I'm sorry but yes as a baseball stadium, but absolutely not as a football stadium. It needs to end.
LOL those very smells that mirror those coming from our offense. You're right. Match made in heaven. Let's hope for some good results.Wrigley is an absolute dump that reeks of piss, vomit and despair. I can think of no better venue to host the beginning of the Brian Ferentz Farewell Tour.
Unfortunately i see this as a NW win as well, maybe 17 to 13. There simply isn’t a rallying point for our anemic offense. Of course, my predictions are nearly always wrong.
Harry C. As dead as Iowa's offense is it would be only fitting!!!Will there be a 7th inning stretch? If so, when do they do it, do they sing "Take me out to the ballgame" or something else, and who sings?
Yes, the whole idea is so dumb! Those sight lines look terrible. You got Soldier Field right down the road built for NFL games. If it's on somebody's bucket list to go to Wrigley, then you got 81 Cubs games a year to choose from. Why in the world play a football game there?Playing this in Wrigley is insane. It should be played on a football field. The Big should step in and fix it but it is too late.

Throw in the fact that the game is on Peacock and Iowa hit the double Whammy of viewing choices today.
