Good. Do it, and get out of the way for the lady Hawks.

Great--my workday is shot. Damn suspense...

Awesome. I'm glad Barta is taking action now rather then waste away yet another season of suffering through bad bball.

Sorry, just messing with you. Its like Christmas day for me so I'm a little punchy this AM.

As someone who supported Lick this year and into next year, I can admit to some excitement as well. I hope Barta goes in a completely different direction, with a more up tempo style coach. I think if the current players and recruits know they have a wide open style of play to look forwar to, they will all be here next year.

Yes, the last 3 years have been dismal. However, I think a coach truely needs 5 years to turn a program around. This gives a coach a chance to recruit his own players and have a redshirt season. Player transfers never allowed Lick to move forward with the program. Some were Lick's fault, some were circumstantial. I can support Lick being let go, but three years is not enough time for any coach. I hope this fanbase has some sort of patience for the next coach, but somehow I doubt it.

I agree.. with the condition that... a program should be showing signs of improvement. Had there been ANY hope for the future Lick would still be at Iowa.
