Preseason projections

Many people predicted Iowa to finish the season at 6-6 or at best 7-5. That is their comeback when others expect this team to be playing better. “This is where I had them to finish at the beginning of the year.”

Just because you predicted Iowa’s record to be where it is at this point in the season, it doesn’t mean others can’t expect Iowa to execute better, be less predictable, find ways to put players in situations that better suit their talents.

We may be laying the foundation for next year and we may end up with the same record at the end of the year. I’ll be fine with that as long as we’re executing better, doing a better job at coaching and game schemes.

Just my thoughts.

See how that works? It’s all relative, and it’s all opinion.

What about KF could make anything predictable, Good or Bad. I'm just as surprised at the level of play this year as I was in 2015. This year was even harder. Lot's of young player and lot's of experienced play makers. New blood at the OC with Ferentz genes, but more emotional. Go figure.

6-6 does mean a losing season against peers.
