That is a great find! I had completely forgotten about that article until you just posted it.

You know what's interesting about those stats, as it relates to the negative pub we are getting???......There is absolutely NOTHING in those stats from the last 11 BCS champions revolving around offensive production. In fact, what it tells me is that if you don't have defense, don't even bother thinking you have a chance to be in the mix. Go ahead and put up your 50 spot every game and play in the Our Bowl Game Name Changes Every Year. Com bowl. I'll take a hard-hitting defense that keeps teams out of the end zone and enjoy watching them on New Year's (or later) in Pasadena!!
