I don't think so. White isn't near the player Marble was. Not to mention he doesn't have the "famous" father figure either. White has no jump shot, or passing skills, or 3 point shooting, or dribbling skills that add to the hype. But we will hear about him being locked in the gym I bet!!!

I thought it was all about Roy not Devyn. Whenever anyone would mention Devyn they would quickly go to Roy and if on TV, they had to find him in the stands.

Iowa can take some blame here as well...the second he stepped on campus he stopped being "Devyn Marble" the name everyone called him throughout his life and suddenly became "ROY Devyn Marble" the second coming of his daddy...according to Dolph and 90% of the rest of the media.
